Steering Groups: Reasonable Organised and Managed.
It is necessary for a big ambitious project like eSchwechat.at to be well positioned within the municipality. To that contributes an own Programme Steering Group, which represent the inhabitants of Schwechat.
The Programme Steering Group includes about 20 members from the Mayor of Schwechat and Chief of Municipal Administration to ICT Experts, representatives of Schwechat based research and education institutions, the Chamber of Economy, Chamber of Labour, Labour Market Service, to the inhabitants of Schwechat and businesses as well as the Programme Manager. The Programme Steering Group meets twice a year, in order to define the general strategy and directions of eSchwechat.at.
The operational management of eSchwechat is carried out by the Programme Management. 
Innovation Consultancy, the initiator of eSchwechat.at, was appointed to this assignment in summer 2005.
