Schwechat: Austria’s Gate to the World.

The nearest hospital is very close by, in the neighbouring municipality of Vienna. Schwechat is also very concerned with care for the elderly.

Measured on buying power per capita, Schwechat – with more than 20.000 workplaces – is one of the wealthiest municipalities in Austria.
