Schwechat is the ideal starting point for business trips to all of Europe. Only 20 minutes from the centre of Vienna, located on the A4 (eastbound, Schwechat exit) and the S1 highway (Vienna south circular, Schwechat-Ost (east) and Schwechat-Süd (south) exits), Schwechat is an excellent location not only due to its proximity to 
Vienna International Airport (situated within the municipality) but also to Eastern Europe.

Schwechat is also within comfortable reach by public transport. The Schnellbahn S7 runs to Schwechat centre and to Vienna International Airport from the central Wien Mitte station. Several bus routes link Schwechat with Vienna (e.g. lines 373 and 572 to/from Simmering Station (Schnellbahn and U-Bahn line 3)) and the surrounding communities.
